Dental Podcast: The Mentors of Dentistry ft Practice Biopsy
“Ultimately, we would like to create content that will help pre-dental students, dental students, current dentists, and other dental professionals handle challenges that they are facing.” – Dr. Phil Jenkins
I recently had the honor of being interviewed by Dr. Phil Jenkins for his podcast series, “The Mentors of Dentistry.” I’ve listened to many podcasts related to dentistry over the years, and this was my first time being on the other side of things. It was a pleasure speaking with Phil and I hope you all are able to learn something from our conversation.
The focus of the interview was my approach to lean start-up. As I hammer home again and again; I believe with the current landscape of $350,000+ student loan debt, the traditional route of spending $400-500k to open a practice is no longer a viable or responsible option for new graduates. I would hope that new graduates and dental students begin to see that they can become practice owners too; without digging themselves into a big hole of undue risk.
As always, I am essentially an open book — any follow-up questions you as a listener may have for me, or any dialogues you may want to have; my contact information is on the contact page. Below is the link to the Podcast Interview.
Enjoy and Kaizen!
